On Saturday, March 2, we hosted a public workshop. Around 40 people came, and shared their vision, concerns, and priorities for the land. Members of the Committee listened to ideas in the following categories of focus: Ecology and Natural Resources; Economic Development and Facilities; Education and History; Active Recreation; Passive Recreation; Hunting/Fishing/Gathering; and Other Ideas. The Committee will use that input, along with what is shared in our survey, to shape the way we create our recommendations and management plan.
Thank you to SMCC for sharing the wonderful space with us for this workshop. It was comfortable and convenient.
If you couldn't make it to Saturday's workshop, Brunswick TV3 captured some footage.
There are still lots of ways to get involved. Please take the Survey, come to an upcoming meeting, use Notify Me to get meeting agendas and materials sent to you, or contact tfarrell@brunswickme.org to share your thoughts.
